Judging from a few of these ABA Auction #63 hammer prices, there are a number of lighter wallets out there this morning; (and these figures don't include the extra 15% in fees).

That is the most I have ever heard of being paid for slickers whew and the Lyons 31k plus juice the Buffalo Bourbon sold for 600 had a weak strike

believe me more money has been paid for unembossed whiskeys from the 1860s than $650 dollars MAX BELL
Agreed Max. I personally sold a glop top sapphire star base cylinder some time ago for quite a bit more.
Two sold for 900 each plus juice would be around 1100 for a green slicker just seems a bit high sorry if it offends anybody

Those weren't slickers. They were embossed Pacific Glass Works bottles and one sold in Glass Works Auctions for more than $3200 not long ago.

There was one light greenish yellow slicker with a star base...sold for huge money. I think I will break out some of my boxes of them and start offering them.
The value also depends on the type of STAR on the base. The earlier 1860s Sixths have many more rays. How many of those in greenish yellow don't you wish you had in your boxes WGA ?? !!
