Mid-Winter exposition. Held in Golden Gate park for six months in 1894, the fair drew over 2 MILLION visitors, this is a souvenir glass from the whiskey pavilion. Undocumented.

C.P.MOORMAN&CO. (etched on the pennant flying atop the mast of a fully-rigged sailboat. Old  / J.H. / CUTTER / WHISKIES (three lines slanted the mainsail); fluted highball glass, this is an unlisted San Francisco glass distributed by A. P. Hotaling, the glass leans to the left and has a ton of character, an exceptionally rare western glass, unlisted. The best we've had.

Paul / Jones / Highball (lettering surrounded by a frosted wreath with ribbon ties); and yet another unlisted glass, fluted, crisp and detailed etch, a showy glass, unlisted, undocumented.

CAPT.MERIWETHER LEWIS, CAPT.WILLIAM CLARK) / CENTENNIAL / PORTLAND, / OREGON. (eagle perched on a frosted globe, a shield-shaped map in its beak). (picture featuring buildings of the exposition with a mountain in the background).; one could not have possibly crammed more onto a glass, glass is like new and was still packed in tissue when it arrived. Every detail is crisp - clear - and legible, an amazing piece of history. Unlisted.

Morevilles / AAA (on frosted scroll) / Old Bourbon / Louis Taussig & CO. / Sole Agents / Pacific Coast (all etching is contained within a barrel end border); very bold and crisp etch, gold rim shows wear, an older and sought after glass, I have a labeled embossed cylinder for AAA 1864 Old Bourbon and the design is virtually identical, a rare item in mint shape!

MORVILLE (arched) / AAA (letters are tsp on a frosted banner) / WHISKEY; gold rim is in good shape, this exact pattern is present on one of the labeled and embossed Louis Taussig amber fifths in my collection, crisp etch, a rare and showy glass from S.F., only our 2nd one.

Normandex (on an upward sloping angle-  left to right / fancy horizontal scrollwork similar to a Victorian snow-crest / Cleveland, Ohio / additional ornate Victorian  designs; clear, great etch, an unlisted glass - internally paneled never seen, could be a sleeper.

Normandex (on an upward sloping angle-  left to right / fancy horizontal scrollwork similar to a Victorian snow-crest / Cleveland, Ohio / additional ornate Victorian  designs; this is an absolute anomaly in that it is an unlisted glass - internally paneled in a wonderful rich green color (the actual glass – not the pattern) resembling depression glass, the etch is extremely well executed – rich, ornate and crisp, it is notably crude and will be a centerpiece!

Silkwood Whiskey; clear, big bold blocky etch, this is a tough glass that was produced for Laventhal & CO. of S.F. for only a couple of years around 1905 - the S.F. Earthquake polished them off, the bottle is fancy with swirled shoulders, this is the first glass we've seen

SONOMA WINE CO (arched) / SWCo (letters in ornate circular logo) / 551 SO. MAIN ST. (in rev. arch) / LOS ANGELES, CAL. ; very crisp and detailed ornate pattern double gold rim – single line with band above (band shows some wear), very slight hint of amethyst.

TWOMEY & (arched) / MIHOLOVICH (arched)/ THE YELLOWSTONE / 22 / MONTGOMERY ST. (also arched)(the entire pattern is contained within an ornate shield with a crown on top); gold rim is all there, pattern is crisp with excellent detail and impeccable coverage, this is a very scarce glass from a turn of the century S.F. saloon.

F. Zimmerman & Co. / Portland, Or.; medium sun colored amethyst, bold crisp etch, stencil was applied off level - pattern moves upward noticeably from L to R, some crudity as well.

Compliments of/  F. Zimmerman & Co. / Portland, Or.; another variant not yet documented –the first line runs straight instead of arched, also different spacing and layout than noted on other Zimmermans, clear, good etch, 1mm nick on lip, it's also notably lopsided!
